Hoy favourites, Belinda Kempster and Fran Foote, mother and daughter duo, perform traditional English folk songs, particularly those from their family and home county. They are known for their authentic, unadorned renditions of these songs, often featuring close harmonies and occasional drone accompaniment. Their debut album, "On Clay Hill," showcases songs learned from family members, including Belinda's uncle, Ernie Austin.
