Old friends James (Topette!!, Mawkin) & Saul (Faustus, Eliza Carthy) are known for their warmth and exquisitely delivered traditional tunes and songs. With a nod towards their enduring friendship, these two fine musicians and ‘masters of their craft’ (FATEA Records) celebrated their recent reunion with a new record in November, aptly entitled ‘Kith & Kin’. The duo intertwine seamlessly; dancing around the tunes between the notes, finding space and air, and breathing fresh energy into the music.
With the timeless combination of fiddle and box, James and Saul have been making music together for a long time now and re-launch their live act after time focusing energies on their young families.
